Paul Warren is a Scottish voice actor based in Edinburgh. After developing a love for acting through youth theatre classes and productions at St Andrews' Byre Theatre, he took up online voice acting as a way to keep in practise once he'd left his hometown. After developing a knack for accents through losing and regaining his own during some childhood years spent in the U.S, it seemed like a waste not to.Since 2016 he has voiced a wide range of roles in games, audio drama, film and more, including a contemplative lighthouse keeper in A Highland Song, a chipper villager speaking a fake language in Pine, and a curious AI cat in the multi BAFTA-winning Viewfinder.

Paul comes highly recommended from us! He did a brilliant job on A Highland Song and was great to work with... Paul made a brilliant Hamish for A Highland Song, but is clearly very adaptable for all sorts of roles, I can strongly recommend him!
Ella Watts (Writer, Director | Camlann, Doctor Who: Redacted, Marvel Move, Zombies, Run!)
(Paul) is a very thoughtful and considerate person who thinks deeply about acting and takes the show so seriously. He always asks really great character questions for me from a writing/directing perspective too!
Tobias Weatherburn (Actor | Camlann, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine II, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, Borderlands 4)
Paul just has a very natural energy when he's acting... nothing is forced, nothing is a pretext... it's what it is and what's happening in a scene, which I think makes it so much easier to act against because he's also listening… Paul is an incredible actor, but also an incredible listener.

The difficulty of writing a truly menacing character pales in comparison to finding an actor capable of pulling it off. Paul is that actor. Not only did he work quickly and professionally, he demonstrated a thorough understanding of his craft by discussing the role with me and quickly sending over revisions (when I was inspired to tweak the role based around his incredible performance.) No one else could have been my 'Alek'. For that, Paul has both my thanks, and my attention for many future roles to come.
